Statement & Bio:
I am a self-taught artist who works with traditional materials to explore the possibilities of landscape and figurative work to illustrate memory, feelings, place, and visions of things seen and unseen.  I was born and raised in Hawaii, so my work sometimes is informed by the natural beauty and the culture of the native people of the islands, but I now live in Lake Arrowhead, CA. and the environment of the San Bernardino mountains plays an important role in inspiring my creative process today.  I currently show my work in Gallery 825 in Los Angeles and at Mag.Pi in Lake Arrowhead.
